Multi-Channel Broadcasts: Designing Automated Outreach at Scale
For modern brokerages, running marketing broadcasts using single-channel batches is obsolete. If you send a standard SMS blast to 10,000 cold leads, you can expect less than a 1% click-through rate. However, by chaining channels into a cohesive, conditional workflow, conversion rates rise significantly.
1. The Anatomy of a Visual Campaign Node
The flow editor panel above represents LeadMug's **visual campaign builder**. Here, campaigns are constructed of three node classes:
- Triggers (Purple): The entrance gate for a lead. This can be a form submission, an inbound call hangup, or a tag change inside the CRM.
- Outreach Actions (WhatsApp/SMS/RCS/Voice): The message payload dispatched to the client. This includes rich multimedia attachments and interactive buttons.
- Logic Controls (Delay/Split):Creates path variables based on timeframe delays or conditional flags (e.g. “If message was read, route to Voice AI, else send fallback SMS”).
2. Split Testing Across Carrier Channels
LeadMug's campaign engine enables split-testing WhatsApp business templates directly against carrier RCS card structures. While WhatsApp offers high global coverage, RCS messaging provides native, un-appended rich cards directly inside default mobile SMS screens.
By structuring a split node, the system dispatches 50% of the catalog broadcasts via WhatsApp and 50% via RCS. The dashboard tracks CTR, interaction rates, and cost per contact, letting growth teams optimize channels automatically.
